Research for stronger health systems during and after crisis

ReBUILD Affiliates

ReBUILD Affiliates

As well as the work of the core ReBUILD partners in our four study countries, ReBUILD worked with a range of stakeholders working or interested in health systems strengthening in conflict-affected or post-conflict settings. Many of these were involved in discussions and consultations at the start of the programme, and remained as ReBUILD Affiliates.

Five of these affiliates were supported by ReBUILD to conduct additional research projects which contribute to the overall aim of ReBUILD. These projects broadened both the scope of the initial research themes and allowed wider geographical and contextual settings to be added to the ReBUILD portfolio. They widened and deepened the evidence base on health systems development in post conflict and fragile states. These research projects were selected for funding by ReBUILD through a competitive process that was open to all affiliates.
